what is a class b cDL?

A Class B CDL qualifies you to operate single vehicles over 26,001 lbs — including straight trucks, large buses, box trucks, and dump trucks. It's one of the most versatile licenses available, opening doors across municipal services, delivery, public transit, and more. If you already hold a Class B, you're also eligible to add a Class A upgrade later — making this a smart starting point for a long career in commercial driving.

What you'll learn

Our Class B program covers everything you need to get road-ready and road-legal. You'll train on the specific vehicle types covered under the Class B license, work through pre-trip inspections, basic controls, maneuvering, and highway driving — all with a 1:1 truck-to-student ratio and simulator training before you ever get behind a real wheel. Our instructors are experienced commercial drivers who know the difference between training someone to pass a test and training someone to do the job.
